Summer Outdoor Cooking Series: Ribs, Elote and Texas Beer Refinery

For the final two Tuesdays in August, Vincent and Marcelo will be grilling ribs and elote on the patio. 

In addition, our friends from Texas Beer Refinery will be in the house to showcase two of their beers: Mexican IPA and Bayou City Brown. 

Mexican IPA is a hoppy full-flavored ale similar to an American IPA in hop aroma and flavor, but without the perceived bitterness. Mexican Key limes have been added to accentuate the citrusy aroma from the American hops while balancing the bitterness with the sweetness of the Key limes. Lime peel is also added to create a more complex citrus character. 

Bayou City Brown is a luscious, malt-oriented brown ale with a caramel, dark fruit character. This brew has a complex malt bill utilizing 12 varieties of malted barley. Drinkers will enjoy a roasty, slightly sweet flavor with a smooth, malty aftertaste.
