Outdoor Cooking Series: Olivia Gordon's Louisiana Roots

  • Eight Row Flint 1039 Yale Street Houston, TX, 77008 United States (map)

Tuesday nights at Eight Row Flint give Agricole Hospitality staff the opportunity to cook the food that personally inspires them. They grill, cook with live fire and step outside the daily menus of Revival Market, Coltivare, Eight Row Flint and Night Heron. The series shines a spotlight on the rising stars within Agricole, and for the month of April, the series will feature the front-of-the-house women of Agricole Hospitality and their Louisiana roots.

Food is served 5pm until sold out, and each plate is $15.

Olivia Gordon, assistant general manager of Coltivare, grew up in Austin. Her father grew up in New Orleans, and Olivia is a proud LSU graduate.

"After four football seasons at LSU, it's hard not to love tailgating. The whole campus would be alive with people cooking for each other and sharing with strangers, even from the opposing team. I chose this dish because it's very shareable--a throwback to my time at LSU football games. I've cooked family meal at Coltivare, so it's not my first time cooking for a crowd. But I do accept help from the professionals. Thanks, Marcelo!"
